Support The Cause
Banks and judgment creditors have teams of lawyers and lobbyists. Small business owners usually have a single checking account and whatever time is left after a long day. This project exists to close that gap by documenting real cases, organizing evidence, and putting patterns in front of regulators and lawmakers.
Your support helps keep that work going.
What support will be used for
When a bank seizes or freezes a business account on the strength of an out‑of‑state default judgment, most owners are too overwhelmed to fight. Our goal is to: Continue litigating and documenting our own case so it can serve as a roadmap for others. Collect and organize stories from other owners so regulators and state officials see the full pattern, not just isolated complaints. Build practical tools (timelines, checklists, sample question sets) that owners can take to their own lawyers and regulators. Every contribution goes toward legal costs, research time, site and document hosting, and outreach to regulators and policymakers.
How you can help
1. Contribute financially “Contribute on GoFundMe” → link directly to your GoFundMe campaign. In the text, make clear that contributions are not tax‑deductible (unless you eventually set up a qualifying nonprofit). 2. Share your story “Share Your Bank Garnishment Story” Explain that detailed, documented stories (letters, screenshots, court papers) are incredibly valuable for showing regulators how these practices actually work across states. 3. Spread the word Encourage people to: Share the site and specific blog posts with other owners, trade groups, and local media. Mention your case and site when they contact their own state AG, legislators, or regulators about bank garnishment issues.
